  1. Keepsake Diary Ver. 2.01 Copyright (c) 1992 By Mike Nalbone

  4.      Keepsake is a simple diary program which will allow you
  5. to write entries on a daily basis , read any entry at any
  6. time and also add to an entry later.
  7.  
  8.      Keepsake requires CGA or better graphics , a Hard Disk,
  9. MS DOS 3.3 or later and only 64k RAM . Keepsake assumes you
  10. have sufficient disk space when writing new entries. Please
  11. be sure you do.

  14.      To run Keepsake :
  15.                       Type ---> ks201
  16.                       Press Enter
  17. The welcome screen will be displayed for about 20 seconds or
  18. until you press enter.
  19. Next comes the main menu which will allow you to :
  20.      Read an entry
  21.      Write an entry
  22.      List current entries
  23.      Change password (disabled in evaluation copy )
  24.      Info on registration
  25.      Quit
  26. Simply press the 1st letter of your choice .
  27. When reading or writing , Keepsake will first show you the
  28. current date , and ask if you wish to change it.
  29. This will NOT reset the system date ! Therefore , if you want
  30. to read an entry from 12-25-92 , you must enter 12-25-92 when
  31. it asks for a new date .
  32.      Keepsake's word processor is not fancy by any means.
  33. The arrow keys , for example are not functional , neither are
  34. page-up or page-down . I'll be working on it .
  35.      My Wife & I wanted to release it a.s.a.p.
  36. (We need the money ! Ha Ha !) As improvements are made ,
  37. registered users will be notified . And for a small handling
  38. fee (maybe 3 or 4 dollars) we'll send you the upgrade.
  39. But for now please enjoy .
  40. I have tested , tested & re-tested everything & it looks
  41. pretty tight. I eagerly await any comments or criticisms !
